Misty Woodford is a 3rd generation Realtor and has been licensed in Tennessee for 11 years, with a broker’s license for 7 years. Misty owned and operated a small independent brokerage for 8.5 years before joining a larger local brokerage. She has been a member of WCAR since 2007. During that time, she has served on the Scholarship Committee, helped start the YPN chapter, and is currently serving as an Ombudsman, a member of the Grievance Committee, and the Vice-Chair of the Education Committee. In addition to volunteering with committees, Misty enjoys being an instructor for CORE, Contracts, and Realtor Academy Classes at WCAR. She attended the WCAR Leadership Academy program in 2016. Misty understands the importance of being invested in our realtor community and is a major investor in RPAC. She attended the Mid-Year meetings in Washington DC in 2018 to get a better view of how things work on a national level. She has also attended TN Realtors Conferences and the NAR annual conference.
Misty and her husband Jeff live in Franklin with their 2 children, Lexi Kate and Sam. When not selling real estate Misty enjoys swimming, cooking dinner for friends, serving in her community, and being involved in the PTO at Moore Elementary and Thompsons Station Middle School. Misty would like to represent the WCAR membership on the board of directors to continue in her role of servant leadership within the association. The association has made great strides over the last several years in becoming a large association, and a major player on the National Stage. Misty would like the opportunity to help the Association continue to grow, serve the members well, and to continue to improve providing the programs and services the membership would like to see offered.
