Helping people buy and sell properties can make for an exciting career. However, entry into the real estate profession takes time and preparation. As with other professions, licensing is required. To obtain a real estate license in Tennessee, you must have 90 hours of education and pass a written exam. There are several real estate schools that offer pre-licensing classes in a class room setting, online or as a correspondence course.
