This year’s Bling and Bowties will again serve as the kickoff party to the Downtown Franklin's 30th annual Main Street Festival which is April 29-30, 2017. Bling and Bowties has quickly becoming the largest fundraiser for the REALTOR® Good Works Foundation in part due to the donations of art for the auction from the Main Street Festival artists as well as locally and regionally known artists as well as generous support from new and renewing sponsors. The attendance alone tripled from the year before with more than 550 people having RSVP for the evening.

Another component is the Student Art Competition in partnership with Williamson Medical Center. High school student in Williamson County’s public and private schools are asked and encouraged to participate. The Best of Show winner is awarded a $1000 from the Foundation toward a college scholarship. The Foundation also awards $500 to Best of Show winner’s high school’s art department. Those chosen by a panel of judges will have their art displayed the evening of Bling and Bowties as well as being included in the Williamson Medical Center’s 2014- 2015 Academic Calendar.

Since 2007, over $90,000 has been distributed back into the community of Williamson County, Tennessee. Volunteers with the Foundation have also given back to the community through work with Samaritans Purse to rebuild the community after the 2010 floods.
